I had a bit of an “aha!” moment this morning and decided to take you along with me for the ride (literally, as I recorded this during my morning commute).
Sometimes I allow a small thing to take up residence in the back of my mind and I underestimate both the effect it has on me and how little time and energy it would take for me to just solve/handle/fix/replace/address whatever that thing is.
This morning it was the bluetooth adaptor for my car, but on some days it’s a small pile I’ve given more power than deserved or a phone call I dread that would only take 90 seconds.
References in the audio, as promised during:
- Magic cd player magnetic car mount thingy
- Equally magical FM car adaptor gadget with an on/off switch
My challenge in the recording is to find something taking up space in your brain and EVICT that thing. Tackle it, savor the satisfaction of it, and then see what it empowers you to do next (even if that’s a satisfying break from this one small irritation in life). I would love to hear how it goes, what you choose, and where this small tweak takes you. Let me know in the comments here or over in our online community.
