Just a quick audio recap of everything below in the audio drop above and some hints at things to come. If you want to get Saturday blog post re-caps, make sure you’re on my mailing list over here.
Right now, I don’t have a lot of brand new content to offer you, but we do have an active Discord community server with puzzles, weekly Zoom book club reading a book that is amazing for current times, an Animal Crossing channel, journal/planner nerd fests, a space for soul tending, and a lot of room for coping that isn’t riddled with social media noise.
I would love to see you there. I hope you’re doing as well as is reasonable to expect and staying safe and supported. It’s quieter here on Patreon and the blog, but I’m here.
Digital Pandemic Brain Dump: A Needed Purge of an Overloaded Brain, Bujo Style
I’m holding a lot in my head right now and I know the reasons, but sometimes knowing the why isn’t the same as knowing the how of changing it. In the absence of one giant, coherent, life-changing post to offer, I did what helps me on paper when my head is cluttered and I just need to purge: a brain dump. This is an overview of how I’m coping, what I’m thinking, and all the other things I had floating in my brain.
Also recorded a quick video flip-through of a Passion Planner:
Flip-Through: Passion Planner (Video)
I snagged one of these for cost of shipping recently and took the opportunity to take another look at a planner I haven’t investigated in a while. Passion Planner has been around for a long time and it’s popular, especially with those who have a lot of appointments to manage.
Snippet posts, with little bits of pandemic life:
Blooming in Complex Times
My cactus is blooming again and it was a lovely surprise this week. Thankful for the space being held weekly in the Soul Circle calls right now. This week’s pages from Boundaries & Protection came together in ways that I’m still digesting and really needed in order to feel more settled in the reality of right now.
Creating My Mid-Spring Altar
My mid-spring altar is slowly emerging. I find it fitting to use fallen petals from early spring blooms as a foundation for altar space this time of year, witnessing the evolution of early spring growth cycle into later spring. Adding other personal touches, shrink art made in quarantine, this lovely handmade lace pottery from @morganlynlamb, and…
Reclaiming Home Space
Quarantine prompted a reclaiming of a space in my home that is just mine (pics below). I’m fortunate to have the room to do this, and I’m grateful, because it’s turning into a space that keeps me grounded even when I’m not in it, because I know it’s there.
And as always:
